Quo Vadis Looting System

25-man raids

We are using DKP system for 25 man raid loot distribution. DKP will be rewarded as follows:
    Bosses on farm status in (Gruul, Mag) - no DKP
    Bosses with more then 3 kills (SSC, TK, Hyjal, BT) - 6 DKP
    Bosses with 3 or less kills (SSC, TK, Hyjal, BT)- 10 DKP   
    Bosses that are not downed yet - 2 DKP for each attempt

We will be using boss kill counters on the home page to determine the number of boss kills.

As we progress the awards per boss may change.

In order for us to progress and learn new bosses it is important that we have the right raid setup for the specific fight.Sometimes fights require more healers, other times more AOE, some fights are more mele tolerant. It may happen that people who are signed up don't get invited as other classes are more needed. To reward people who signed up and are availble but did not get invited we are rewarding 5DKP standby bonus. The standby DKP is awarded to people who are online 1 hour after the event started. If you are invited but you decline your standby bonus will be taken away.

In addition to boss kill DKP we will be awarding DKP for people who are on time and ready for raid. Getting on time is a team effort and we will be rewarding the whole team for that. If raid is ready to pull at 9:00 pm everyone who is in the raid will receive 2 DKP.

People who are AFK during raid and are coming unprepared to raids will be charge DKP based on the rules below:

1) AFK during trash clear/boss fights/attempts - 
    if you AFK without telling RL or officer -> 
                -5DKP initial fine
                -5DKP a minite every minute you are AFK
    if you AFK for longer then 5 mins for trash/3 mins before boss even if you told RL/officer - -2DKP per minute raid waits for you
    If you leave the raid before a replacement is found for you  -20DKP - exception is if you explicitly told RL prior to getting invited that you need to leave at specific time.

There will be "silver bullet" you can use once a month to get exempt from this fine if a RL situation happened.


2) not prepared - everyone is required to show up on raids with flasks/elixirs, regent, shards(warlocks) and food. We will help with guild supplies if you did not have time or there are no mats on the AH but do your best to supply your own consumables. Of course if you could not we will help you but you are responsible for asking.

If you don't have regents/elixir/food when you are checked - you will be fined -5 DKP  for being unprepared for this raid. People who are brought in the middle of raid are responsible for their regents. The rest will be provided or they will be exempt. 



On the loot - officers will decide what classes/specs can roll ( for example spriests cannot roll on healing items if a healer needs it) and the player with the highest DKP that wants the item will receive it. If there are more than one player with the same DKP we will be  taking into account the roll. The items cost will be subtracted from the DKP of the player who won it.

Patterns/Recipes - first drop of each pattern or recipe will be given to senior officer or class officer that can use it.  The person who received the pattern/recipe will be required to do it for guildies free of charge with their mats.

For each subsequent drop of that recipe/pattern we will apply the regular DKP/rolling  procedure.

If you need an item you should roll. Rolling means you are interested in the item. We award items based on DKP first then roll. This means that roll will be taken into account only if there are more then 1 persons with the highest DKP.

DKP is per person not per toon - i.e. if you play with more than one toon you need to pick under which toon we will keep your accounting - i.e. main toon and all other toons will be marked as alts. Everyone has a right to define what toon is their main and what are the alts. This decision cannot be changed more then once every three months. You will earn and can use the DKP from any toons.

Alts have lower priority then main toons with 150DKP or higher. If a main toon that has 150 or higher DKP rolls on an item for their main set any rolls from alts will be disregarded. Exceptions will be made in very rare ocasions after officer discussion and agreement.

Prices for items will be fixed. We might adjust them if needed. See the price list in the box below.

if noone rolls on an item - this item will be open for silent bidding ( one time) with minimal bid of 1/3 of items price. The highest bid wins. If noone wants to pay minimal bid item will be DE/d. This rule is replacing the offspec rule.
*There is not silent bid on Hyjal trashdrop items because there is not tike for that - all items are full price, if an item is not rolled for in 10sec it will be DE-d.

Each item that drops is first offered to the raid for rolling according to the loot distribution rules we have published (and raid leader/loot master follows). If no one rolls for that item it belongs to the loot master. The loot master is free to do whatever he/she wants with it. Suggestions are welcome via wispering or raid chat but the final decision is made by lootmaster and it is not questionable.

We need mats for our progression - mats for making potions, potions, mats for making gear etc. Not all classes can grind them as easily or as quickly as others. So if you are willing to help us progress by supplying mats or potions for the guild you will be rewarded with additional DKP - up to 5DKP a week.
Awards will be 
    10 potions ( mana or healing) - 1DKP
    20 elixirs - 2 DKP
    1 flask - 5 DKP
    5 wizard/mana oil - 1 DKP
    1 stack of food (20) 
              +30 stam or 44healing     - 2DKP  
              - everything else             - 1DKP
    1 primal - 1 DKP

10-man raids

Items will be awarded based on players participation in the group and/or highest roll. One item per raid rule applies - i.e. if person A and Person B need an item and person A already got an item and person B did not then Person B is the only one who can roll. This rule is only applicable in 10man raids.

Per raid lead decision - earned DKP can be used instead of roll on T4 sets and weapons. DKP will just be used instead of rolls.

For all raids you should either need or pass on epics. If the raid leader say " everyone pass" you need to pass - there will be roll on the item after all pass. When the raid lead say that all should pass - do not loot for any reason unless the raid leader tells you to. Do not loot even for badges. When it is save to loot you will have that oportunity.
